I'll Play with the Lightsaber on Friday

Reed pretends that everything is a lightsaber... markers, sticks, yarn, forks...anything and everything. Today he had a sales flier rolled up and he said, "Can this be a lightsaber?"

I said, "We gave you a lightsaber for Christmas. Why don't you ever play with that? It's what you wanted the most." (It's really cool. It's spring loaded, lights up and makes sounds.)

He said, "Well, I played with it on Friday. Is it Friday now?"

he and Neal should get together....Neal can teach him to play with the lightsaber everyday of the week, and on the weekends....ha. Neal got two for Christmas so we are battling the Jedi/Dark force around her all the time.

I love his reasoning. That's what makes him "Reed." He's precious.

That young Jedi is a born trait in many young boys. And if at all fed by the BIG boy (Daddy) is when it can really come to life. Happened just that way with my boy.

Wouldn't be pretty amazing if Moms would have the "force". Cleaning a breeze, laundry even easier....and getting little ones to brush their teeth without fussing....whew ! :-)

Reed is one cute Jedi !
