Our 15th Anniversay

I have always said that I got the best one. Wes Thompson was, is and will always be the best husband I could ask for. We've been married 15 years. It has flown by so fast, especially since the kids came along. I am so blessed. I look forward to many more years together.

Moon and Stars Forever.

I love you sweetie.

Happy Birthday Wes

For those of you who know me, you know I can't make desserts. Well I was pretty proud of the birthday cake I made for Wes. The kids put the confetti on it. It was very yummy too. Hmm...I could use a piece right now.

The kids couldn't wait until after dinner to give daddy the books about running. They had decorated the wrapping paper with drawings. Then they each told daddy why they loved him.

We hope you had a great birthday daddy. We love you bunches.

Go Daddy!!!

Wes did it. He ran the Tom King 1/2 Marathon. 40 degree weather with steady rain. We're so proud of you. The kids gave him a trophy that says #1 Daddy. Way to go Wes. You're always #1 in our house. We love you.

Is this dedication or is he just plain crazy?

Wes is going running in 20 degree weather.

He does look cute though, huh?

Lake Guntersville at Christmastime

We had a wonderful weekend at Lake Guntersville State Park in Alabama with my mom and brother Clay and girlfriend Janna. Cate & Reed had never been there.

Wes and I got married 14 years ago and spent our honeymoon here.

We took lots of funny pictures.

Gran and Cate got tattoos.

The kids found shells on the beach to put in their treasure boxes that Gran made them.

It all ended too soon. Thank you Gran for a wonderful Christmas in Guntersville.

On Your Mark, Get Set...

GO!!!

Wes ran in his first official race today. The kids and I cheered him on at Long Hunter State Park as over 200 people ran a 5 mile trail run. Some of them were dressed in Halloween costumes. We saw a couple of friends of ours that run a lot. Wes did great. We were so proud of him.
