Wes did it. He ran the Tom King 1/2 Marathon. 40 degree weather with steady rain. We're so proud of you. The kids gave him a trophy that says #1 Daddy. Way to go Wes. You're always #1 in our house. We love you.

That's awesome! :) I guess it wasn't a fluke last year when it was cold and rained on us the whole way! I hate that he had to run it in those conditions, but he looked great at the finish! Isn't it exciting to wait, and wait, and wait for the person you're cheering for, and then finally see them come into the stadium? I've been on that end several times as well, and it's always a thrill!

Awesome job Wes! Congrats on your first 1/2! Yeah...I thought of you all morning and knew you were running in the rain and cold. Your trophy is great. We're very proud of you too.
ok...ok....with all these folks at our church running now....lets see...Heidi, Wes, Cliff, Val, and I heard something of Shelby and running shoes...hum....you have all inspired me to walk around my cul de sac....I mean really if you guys can do all this running surely I can make it a few houses down from my own....ok, maybe just out to the van to get my coke I left.....lets be real folks...I gotta start somewhere.......lol.
