Aren't these children beautiful? They are a part of the Karen ethnic group in Burma. The Burmese have targeted the Karen for Ethnic Cleansing. These beautiful people are constantly on the run for their lives. They must move about in the jungle to avoid being caught by the army. If caught, they face torture, forced labor, rape and death. A large percentage of this group of people are Christian. This makes them even more of a target for the army who wants to create one nation (Burma), one language (Burmese) and one religion (Buddhism). Please pray today and continually for the Karen.
